Originally hailing from Dallas Texas, Alex has been supporting a heavy addiction to drum & bass vinyl since 1996.
While living in Japan during 1998 he made his public debut at Tokyo's Club Code and there was no turning back.
After rocking other Tokyo venues like Space Lab Yellow, and the legendary Liquid Room (alongside Mickey Finn), Alex brought his brand of DJ Hype and
Andy C inspired Drum & Bass to the Virginia Beach area.
With his clean and tight mixing skills, discerning track selection, and energetic presence, he's become a
consistant favorite among VA/DC clubgoers and fellow DJs alike. As a result of winning a DJ competition at a local club, Hartz, Havok landed himself a
residency there and has become an integral part of the Empyreal family since.
From there he has certainly spread his wings. Having spun in the Alias (@ Nation, DC) Drum N Bass Competition, Cubik (@ Nation, DC) and Plastic in Rhode Island, Havok has definitely earned respeect among his peers. Whether on his own or as one half of the tag-team duo ADHD (alongside
fellow co-conspirator PunkAssMark), Alex is sure to bring havoc to plenty of new dancefloors to come.
